İf you seek amy: A Video Installation at vitruta London
vitruta London is pleased to host a special video installation presented in collaboration with Display Fever and Teaspoon Projects: if you seek amy.
Taking place on Saturday, 7 June from 7 to 9 PM at vitruta Kings Cross, this event coincides with London Gallery Weekend.
Ela Kazdal’s two-minute short deconstructs iconic pop stardom—from Britney Spears to Beyoncé—through halftone dots, low-resolution visuals, and flickering reverberations. Previously screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Onion City Experimental Film Festival Chicago, and Leiden Shorts, the film reflects on the faded and reimagined traces of Y2K celebrity culture.
A continuation of the collaboration initiated with The Luster exhibition in May, this installation will feature curated visuals, a communal Polaroid camera, and an open space for visitors to engage in playful self-mythologising—transforming the evening into a collective luster object.
